Welcome to Choreographed Chaos. I’m thrilled you’re here. Below, you’ll learn a little more about me and what you can expect when you subscribe to my Substack.
A Bit About Me

I’m a retired ballerina now working in corporate America trying to “choreograph the chaos” of balancing work and life, attempting to create something beautiful in the midst of the mundane and ordinary. I’m a native Hoosier living in Indianapolis with my husband, Sean, and am a first-time mom to my son, Rowan (2 years) and our rescue mutt, Leo (4 years).
What You Can Expect Here
I have enjoyed writing and sharing my thoughts on Instagram for many years now. Friends and family often comment that over the the years, they have enjoyed and appreciated my commentary on politics and current events, books I’m reading / shows I’m watching / podcasts I’m listening to, and the just general “life” stuff I share in my everyday.
Since becoming a mom in February 2023, I’ve wanted to share more longer form writing in a format that works for me, and as Substack continues to grow, it seems to be the place to do it. My goal for this newsletter is to share personal essays and reflections on motherhood, advocacy about politics (particularly as they relate to the care economy), and more fun (and perhaps random) recommendations, suggestions, tips, and musings on everything from what I’m currently obsessed with (hint: it’s almost always Taylor Swift) to what I found while thrifting this week.
